ABOUT
Olga Ginzburg is a Belarusian-American freelance photographer based in New York City.
Her work examines and explores themes of identity, community, biculturalism and notions of what it means to be an insider/outsider—something she has identified with throughout her life. An early source of confusion and feelings of disjunction, she now views it as an essential part of her storytelling. A graduate of the City College of NY, in 2019 the work she has been making on Staten Island was included in an exhibition at the Alice Austen House Museum, which subsequently led to her first commission for the New York Times.
